Experience

Angela has been teaching classes since 2016 ages 4 to adult. Angela became a Certified Instructor of Tang Soo Do in 2020.

Brave Martial Arts has always been a special place for my family and I. I am currently a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and a Kyosanim (Certified Instructor) and have been training with my son and daughter since 2015. I love how Tang Soo Do challenges me both mentally and physically on and off the mat. My favorite part about teaching is the ability to tray and instill in others what I have received during my training at Brave; an appreciation of tradition and, discipline, motivation, respect and confidcne. My goal is to always ensure that every student that walks onto the mat knows that Brave is a place where they can challenge themselves while having fun and making friends.

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from Seton Hill University.  I currently work as the Assistant Director for the Westmoreland County Audit Department.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Brave Martial Arts programs.

How can we try a class to see if my child likes it?

Brave offers several trial options: Option #1 Our most popular trail is our 4 week KICKSTART class which allows students and parents an opportunity to get to know our Black Belt instructors and how we teach martial arts to kids ages 4-12. The Kickstart class meets weekly and students will earn their first belt upon completion. The Kickstart program meets throughout the year, click on one of our offers to see when the next class begins! Option #2: 3 class trial with flexible scheduling Progress Check: Our Brave team meets with all families once their child is enrolled in a trial. We want our students to be successful on and off the mats, so we want to hear from parents their goals as their child begins their training in martial arts.

What is the price for classes?

Every student has a choice in how they pay for their program. Students can pay in full for their program or choose a monthly option. We do not charge registration fees, financing fees or cancellation fees.

What’s the recommended attire for my child during class?

For martial arts training, a uniform is required and can be purchased directly from us.

Am I allowed to observe my child’s classes?

Absolutely! Parents are welcome to watch classes! Parents are a vital part of the team and we want you to stay connected to your child’s martial arts journey. Parents are even welcome to join their child on the mats to train. At Brave the families that kick together stick together! There are many benefits for families training together!

What age groups do you accept for your programs?

We offer classes for children, teens, and adults starting at age 4.

How does the class schedule work?
